Upon witnessing a man’s head cracked open with an axe, 16-year-old Yuri Honjou trembles in fear and confusion as she flees from the masked assailant, only to find out she’s trapped in an abandoned building where every door is mysteriously locked. Desperately searching for a way out, Yuri runs to the rooftop, but a world with no signs of life stands before her, surrounded by high-rise buildings. Though filled with despair, once she learns that her brother is also in this strange place, Yuri is determined to find him and escape. However, she soon finds that there are more masked murderers in the area, anxious to terrorize their newfound victims and satiate their sickest desires, leaving Yuri to question if they will be able to make it out alive.

Primatologist Davis (Dwayne Johnson) shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent silverback gorilla who has been in his care since he was young. When a greed-fueled corporation’s genetic experiment goes awry, George and other animals across the country are mutated into aggressive supercreatures who destroy everything in their path. Michael (21 years old), a young American, arrives moneyless to Medellin after having traveled all through South America as a backpacker. In Medellin, Michael meets a beautiful exotic girl named Melody (20 years old) who introduces him to her friends, a group of young misfits who call themselves “The Dead Men” and live in an old and abandoned psychiatric hospital. This group of radical youths live their lives without fear or regrets; as if they were going to die at any time. By living crazy experiences full of adrenaline, extreme sports and electronic music, Michael’s life changes completely.
