Neglected and unsupervised, a group of high school seniors are pulled into a downward cycle of violence.
Gong Chan is the wealthy, unattach heir to a large company. Having lost both his parents, he is devoted to what remains of his family, particularly his ailing grandfather. The old man is plague with guilt after deciding to cut off ties with his only daughter because he disapproves of her marriage to a Japanese, and the couple was killed soon after he lost touch with them, leaving behind a little daughter. For years, grandfather had wished to track down this little girl, who would be Gong Chan’s cousin, who apparently was adopted by a family they cannot trace. Gong Chan desperately wants to find this girl so his grandfather can die in peace after making financial restitution to her, but so far all he hits are dead ends, even after hiring expensive detectives. By chance, Gong Chan meets a woman who resembles his lost aunt and is inspired to use her to fulfill his grandfather’s last wish. The woman, Yoo Rin is the daughter of a compulsive gambler and is constantly on the run, so when Gong Chan offers her this opportunity, she cannot afford to refuse. After Yoo Rin moves in with the family, Gong Chan finds himself drawn to her and a forbidden attraction blooms between them.
Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) thinks he is God’s gift at his high school. He plays a prank on a fellow high school student, Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen) who, unbeknown to him is a witch. Kendra teaches him a lesson by putting a curse on him making him as beastly on the outside as he is on the inside. He has one year to find someone to fall in love with him or stay like that forever.
