A crew of electrical lineman, who work high above the ground to fix the electrical grid and struggle to maintain their relationships with the women they love. Their lives are put in immediate danger when a storm tears through the area.

Jack Deebs is a cartoonist who is due to be released from jail. His comic book “Cool World” describes a zany world populated by “doodles” (cartoon characters) and “noids” (humanoids). What Jack did’t realize is that Cool World really does exist, and a “doodle” scientist has just perfected a machine which links Cool World with our world. Intrigued at seeing his creations come to life, Jack is nonetheless wary as he knows that not everything in Cool World is exactly friendly.
Anthony experiences the best of Chicago with the help of music producer Steve Albini, chef Stephanie Izard, rapper Lupe Fiasco and Paul Jurewicz.

After leaving the prison, the dwarf criminal Calvin Sims joins to his moron brother Percy to steal an expensive huge diamond in a jewelry for the mobster Walken. They are chased by the police, and Calvin hides the stone in the purse of the executive Vanessa Edwards, whose husband Darryl Edwards wants to have a baby. Percy convinces Calvin to dress like a baby and be left in front of the Edwards’s house to get inside the house and retrieve the diamond. Darryl and Vanessa keep Calvin for the weekend and decide to adopt him, while Walken threatens Darryl to get the stone back.

The story begins when a scientist is working on an intelligent robot for humanitarian purposes, who discovers the company he works for is intends to use the robots for military purposes. The scientist steals one of the robots which ends up being lost and broken, then is fixed by a lonely 11-year-old boy. A robot boy and a human boy team up to save their respective parents, who are being held captive by the organization that funded the robot’s creator. The two become friends and embark on adventures while being pursued by the authorities.
