Based on a true story, Black Water is set in northern Australia. Grace, her boyfriend Adam, and his sister Lee go on river tour while on holiday. The trio enter a mangrove swamp and their boat capsizes, only their tour guide doesn’t re-emerge from the water. They discover that they’ve been hit by a terrifying crocodile. Adam and Grace manage to get to a tree while Lee uses the upturned boat to stay afloat. The trio must devise a way to escape the clutches of the man-eating crocodile by getting out of the swamp.
