It’s two years on since the less-than-festive Christmas of ‘88, with some of the gang embracing the new decade with more gusto than others. But a lot can happen in a year, and in true ‘This is England’ style, the second summer of love soon gives way to a winter of discontent. Violence, sexual abuse, racism, depression, dysfunctional families… and now it’s drugs but with laughs, and this is just the beginning…

Part 1
Woody is a stay-at-home father sharing the fun with Milky whilst Lol enjoys running the School Kitchen. Harvey and Gadget get baked all day and Chrissy’s got a girlfriend. Shaun is pining for Smell and there’s a party about to happen and they’re all going to it.

Part 2
It’s summer: the BBQs are out and the raves are on. While Lol, Woody and Milky revel in domestic bliss, the rest of the gang embark on a journey they will never forget.

Part 4
Autumn — As the days start to get darker, life begins to take a darker turn and honesty, forgiveness and loyalty are tested to the extreme. Lol finds herself confronted with a seemingly impossible task and is forced to face up to some uncomfortable truths. Kelly continues on her downward spiral, while Shaun escapes the troubles of the present with a trip down memory lane.
