Performance issues can be solved by these 2 ways.

1. Go to NVidia control panel and make sure you have your card on “prefer max performance”. This game is so untaxing on some cards that they are going into powersaver mode during gameplay.

2. Plug in a controller. For some reason if you don’t have a controller plugged in the game stutters. Some say it is because the game is constantly checking for a controller which causes this or something.

If you’re getting an error while running the setup.exe, rename the folder to just Final Fantasy XIII. The added characters conflict with the setup.exe for some reason.

“Full Screen display mode cannot be selected as a screen resolution of 1280x720 is not supported by the system”

Here’s the fix:

1.) Download Custom Resolution Utility
http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

2.) Add 1280 x 720 to Detailed & Standard Resolutions

3.) Restart computer

4.) Select Fullscreen option from game launcher.
