The Saratov Approach is a 2013 dramatic thriller film about a 1998 kidnapping of two Mormon missionaries in Russia. It entered a limited release on October 9, 2013, in Utah. On what began like any other day, Elders Travis Tuttle (Corbin Allred) and Andrew Propst (Maclain Nelson) are kidnapped, beaten, and held for ransom. While their families pray for their safe return, the missionaries are tested physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
