Birdie grows more invested in her scholarship recipient, Ford; Alice investigates her dog’s murder; Catherine wrestles with coming clean about her affair; Brett butts heads with his ex-wife; in flash-forwards, Birdie seeks help covering up the body.

Season 1, Episode 03 – “Companion Planting”
Brett navigates shared custody with Melissa and Connor. Alice’s grief over her dog clouds her judgment. Catherine confesses her affair to Tucker. Birdie enlists Ford at the garden. In flash-forwards, the foursome toy with plans to dig up Quiche.

Season 1, Episode 04 – “Force of Nature”
Alice hopes to fix her relationship with Doug and confides in Brett. Catherine’s affair exposes cracks in her picture-perfect facade. The Garden Club’s championship plans are stolen and Birdie retaliates. The identity of Quiche becomes clearer.

Season 1, Episode 05 – “Pollination”
Catherine’s attempts to rebuild her marriage take a sexy turn. Brett’s love life explodes as Alice struggles to make sense of their relationship. Birdie’s friendship with Joel is tested. A loose end is revealed from the night of the murder.
