A married couple desperate to have a child do everything they can, including performing traditional fertility rites. Their prayers are answered when the wife conceives a child, but their happiness is cut short when the baby dies upon delivery. From there, things go downhill for the couple, and mysterious events lead to the creation of the first Aswang.
