Season 5, Episode 01 – “Children of the New Paradise”
The Highest narrowly escapes the FBI as the agents are pursued by the cartel, resulting in a dangerous defense, and Ruth finally comes face-to-face with her daughter Callie.

Season 5, Episode 02 – “ll Fin Di Chi Fa Mal”
Ruth looks for a way to get the brainwashed children away from their new headmaster, Obadiah, but The Highest has other ideas. When River attempts to get back into The Highest good graces, he discovers Dikahn plans to make his life a living hell.

Season 5, Episode 03 – “The Night is Long”
Ruth desperately tries to prevent the mass suicide of the Rakudushi members, which includes her daughter, Callie. River has his back against the wall, when multiple adversaries threaten to make his life a living hell.

Season 5, Episode 04 – “Death Will Bring Death”
After Ruth fails to help him, River plays a dangerous game of chess to remove Dikahn from power and improve his life. Meanwhile, Ruth must stop a distraught mother from trying to escape the compound with her daughter, Olivia.

Season 5, Episode 05 – “The Measure”
The Highest holds a public trial to find and punish any traitors among the Rakadushi, and River, the new Dikahn, struggles to protect Ruth and Joan when his own loyalty is tested.

Season 5, Episode 06 – “Soup Du Jour”
After the fallout from the Gauntlet of Faith, Ruth and River find themselves at deadly odds; when Dikhan finds himself in unfamiliar territory on the compound, he makes a sinister move to regain his power.

Season 5, Episode 07 – “Revelations”
When Ruth and River become mortal enemies in the wake of the “First Supper,” Ruth is determined to kill or be killed; she makes a fatal mistake.

Still in bad condition, The Highest orders Andrew to find Dikahn’s killer. At the same time, River and Obadiah try to capitalize on The Highest’s increasing vulnerability, and Ruth and Joan attempt to steal from River without him noticing.

Season 5, Episode 12 – “Pieces to Be Played”
As River and Obadiah jostle for power inside the Rakudushis compound, Ruth sets plans in motion to turn them against one another; the FBI looks for ways to weaken the Rakudushis and have a special surprise for River that will put new pressure on him.

The Highest delivers a shocking proposition to Ruth, George and Lewis concoct a plan to escape, and River tries to outsmart a vengeful Obadiah.

Ruth must convince The Highest of her pregnancy while contending with River and Obadiah’s attempt to have her removed from power, and a murder places Andrew and the guards on high alert.

The FBI brings in a negotiator to finally make headway in their investigation, Marva prepares for a drastic final step, and The Highest proposes a cruel test for River.

Season 5, Episode 16 – “The Unthinkable”
The Highest punishes Ruth with an unspeakable act. River defeats Andrew in a battle for the title of Dikahn.

Season 5, Episode 17 – “Into The Blackness”
The Highest executes a horrific plan that tests the loyalty of his followers; River, Joan and Zane finally make their play to escape the compound.
