Lorna still hasn’t slept, and she has no intention of doing so until she finds out what Aoife Cassidy knew.
The town’s laundry survivors are campaigning for justice, and Lorna discovers that Aoife spoke to another survivor. Past betrayals emerge to the surface and end in tragedy.
Colman and local guard Massey join forces to track down Father Percy’s murderer. Key evidence has been destroyed, but Colman identifies his murder suspect as Aoife Cassidy, whilst Lorna’s strange behaviour brings her to his attention. And there’s something about this town that is really starting to get under Colman’s skin.

Season 1, Episode 03 – “Knock Knock”
A new lead means Lorna might finally discover the fate of her daughter, but Colman is closing in. The case takes an unexpected turn.

Season 1, Episode 04 – “The Cruelty Man”
Aoife’s body is missing and Lorna is devastated by the news of the death of her child. The search for her daughter’s grave becomes ever more fraught. Enlisting Michael to help, the two begin to understand the enormity of what Aoife Cassidy had come to share with the town. Lorna takes matters into her own hands and heads toward the convent, but will she be brave enough to face past demons? Back in Dublin, Colman is reprimanded for his renegade actions. Aoife Cassidy’s past reveals answers in the present. Colman closes in on his suspects. But will Lorna find peace at last?
