Young pilot Buzz encounters a Russian aircraft over Syria when his wingman suffers a cockpit emergency. In Estonia, another broken jet risks leaving NATO’s frontline undefended against the Russians, whilst a communications technician born in Ukraine enters into his first ever boxing championship.

Station Commander Jim Lee attempts to regain his Typhoon wings. Retiring Warrant Officer Dave Barr prepares to spearhead the Battle of Britain dinner to sign off after 33 years of service. But all plans are halted when the death of Her Majesty the Queen is announced.

Junior pilot Moz must overcome his nerves to tackle the Russian threat on NATO’s front line, and Poseidon trainee Ross faces the biggest test of his career.
