Season 7, Episode 01
On return from suspension, DI Perez reunites with Tosh as they meet the owners of a local B&B, Rachel and Danny Cairns, who are frantic with worry over the sudden disappearance of their son, Connor. New to Shetland, the family moved from Glasgow after Connor suffered a breakdown. Rachel worries that history has repeated itself, but Perez suspects they are hiding something.

Season 7, Episode 02
Perez reassures Rachel that last night’s horrific discovery may have nothing to do with the disappearance of her son Connor. Danny is outraged at the decision to let Pepper Waldron’s family return home to Ayrshire – and news soon comes in that the ex-cop has fled Shetland. Perez has no choice but to follow him, and soon finds himself caught up in a perilous journey into the ex-cop’s past.

Season 7, Episode 03
Mounting evidence pushes Perez and the team to revise their view of Connor Cairns.

Season 7, Episode 04
Perez issues a warrant for Connor’s arrest and looks for the motive for his bomb-making.

Season 7, Episode 05
Lloyd went on the run after being framed for the murder of a police officer. He went unspotted for decades, until seeing Williams Rodgers in Lerwick. Confirming that only Connor knew this secret, Perez wonders whether he has found a motive for murder.

Season 7, Episode 06
The team races to identify the killer and prevent disaster striking Lerwick. As the investigation draws to a close, Perez faces a life-changing decision.
