In this comedy, an aspiring showgirl and a stage-struck comedian team up with a rag-tag troupe of cut-rate entertainers, producers and agents. Trouble ensues for the struggling group when the showgirl and funnyman are accused of swindling. When he is jailed, she goes out looking for the real swindler.
