Adaptation of Philip Roth’s novel that imagines an alternate American history, as seen by a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey as they watch the political rise of aviator and xenophobic populist Charles Lindbergh, who defeats Franklin D. Roosevelt to become President in 1940 and turns the nation toward fascism.
Season 1, Episode 01
Series premiere. On the eve of the 1940 election cycle, Herman Levin anticipates a promotion at work and taking his family to look at a house in an upwardly mobile neighborhood, though his wife, Bess, is wary of leaving the safety of their tight-knit Jewish community and raising a family amid growing anti-Semitism sparked by Charles Lindbergh’s ascendancy. As the family spinster, her sister has a disappointing rendezvous with a married lover, but later finds herself charmed by a local rabbi.
Season 1, Episode 02
Lindbergh’s increasingly popular campaign sweeps through the U.S. and captures some in the Levin family, as well as Bengelsdorf, with Evelyn as his assistant and lover, becoming a key asset in the Lindbergh camp, while Sandy, enamored of the aviator’s charm, celebrity and history, begins a rebellion of his own within the family of New Deal Democrats. Meanwhile, Alvin must decide between serving a local developer or risking an open fight with the fascist forces he sees spreading across the world.
Season 1, Episode 03
Part 03 – Based on the homonymous novel by Philip Roth, a chilling alternative history where an anti-Semite is elected president of the United States.
Season 1, Episode 04
Evelyn and Bengelsdorf receive an invitation from Mrs. Lindbergh to a state dinner for Nazi Germany’s foreign minister, as Evelyn makes Sandy the face of the youth assimilation program. Back from war, Alvin takes a job at his uncle’s warehouse. Philip is traumatized by a death in the neighborhood.
Season 1, Episode 05 –
Herman learns the family has been selected for an essentially forced relocation to Kentucky under the Homestead Act, so he looks to make a challenge in court, while Bess and Philip appeal to Bengelsdorf and Evelyn, respectively. Later, Bess gives Herman an ultimatum when violence breaks out at a rally for Lindbergh’s most public liberal challenger.
Season 1, Episode 06 –
Series finale. Riots and conspiracies spread across the country in the lead-up to Election Day, so Herman takes measures to keep his family safe. Meanwhile, Bess does all she can at a great distance to help a small child caught in a maelstrom of anti-Semitism in Kentucky. Alvin is recruited for a new and secret mission as the ties that bind the Levins together are stressed.

Hey Max et. al. Think there might be a mistake – Ep 6 webrip version is 2.6Gb in size. Just a little larger than expected. Anything you can do? Thanks.
Hello Faith, im sorry i posted the 1080p version, its now corrected, thank you very much for calling my attention
Thanks Max. Much appreciated. If I could take another minute of your time – it’s great that you’ve raised the file size limit for free/registered downloads, but the Rarefile limits haven’t changed. So a free user who wanted to download these larger files could only do maybe 3-4 files a week (5 days) with the 10Gb limit from Rarefile. For instance, my 10000Mb limit has been reached and I only download the smaller webrip files and I haven’t really downloaded too many this week. If that’s going to be the case, I’ll have to stop downloading new shows to see if I like them and just stick to the ones I already know. I think if you change one limit, you have to change both. Just my opinion.
Hello Faith, look at the bright side of it, the 10GB limitation is the same whether you download a one big file or several smaller files, the amount you download will be the same, 10Gb is 10Gb no matter the file size, you can now download files that you were not able to download before due to the 500MB limitation, thank you very much
Max, downloaded episode 4 twice but neither time it worked (eps. 1-3 worked perfect. Shows that 272MB was downloaded (285,764,321 bytes), not 272.5 MB as listed. Please check. Thanks for all your great work with this site!!
Hello Kace, the file size is never the same with what windows is showing than the actual final size which is always bigger, please use MPC or Media Player Classic, thank you very much
