Kidding

Kidding follows Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles, an icon of children’s television, a beacon of kindness and wisdom to America’s impressionable young minds and the parents who grew up with him – who also anchors a multimillion-dollar branding empire. But when this beloved personality’s family – wife, two sons, sister and father – begins to implode, Jeff finds no fairy tale or fable or puppet will guide him through the crisis, which advances faster than his means to cope. The result: a kind man in a cruel world faces a slow leak of sanity as hilarious as it is heartbreaking.

After realizing that he might not have any real friends, Jeff makes a new best friend. Deirdre tries to get Puppet Time back on the air.

Jeff tries to teach children about change.

Season 2, Episode 06 – “THE DEATH OF FIL”
After an international incident, Jeff, Deirdre, Will, and Seb attend a funeral at sea.

Season 2, Episode 07 – “THE ACCEPTANCE SPEECH”
Deirdre deals with a medical issue while attending Jeff’s Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony. Jeff tries to be anyone but himself. Seb meets someone old and someone new.

Season 2, Episode 08 – “A SEAT ON THE ROCKET”
Jeff decides to start a new Pickles family, while Deirdre tries to get some good PR for the show.

Season 2, Episode 09 – “THE NIGHTINGALE PLEDGE”
Jeff learns the safest place for him is far away from everyone. Will talks to a mysterious visitor at his school. With Maddy’s help, Deirdre gets a win for the show.

Season 2, Episode 10 – “THE PUPPET DALAI LAMA”
Jill asks Jeff a question he is not sure if he can answer.
