Kate Kane, armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
In the series premiere, Kate Kane returns home when the Alice in Wonderland gang targets her father and his security firm by kidnapping his best officer—and Kate’s ex-girlfriend—Sophie Moore.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “The Rabbit Hole”
Kate battles Alice and the Wonderland Gang from the shadows while continuing to be haunted by her sister’s death 15 years earlier. Meanwhile, the city holds on to hope that Batman has returned; and Jacob Kane and the Crows up the stakes trying to take down the villainous crew. Kate continues to look to Bruce Wayne’s legacy for guidance as Luke Fox inadvertently gets pulled into Batwoman’s vigilante heroics.

Season 01, Episode 03 – “Down Down Down”
Alice continues to taunt Kate with a secret but also sets her sights on Jacob and Catherine. Kate is visited by Tommy Elliot, a childhood friend of her cousin who has finally realized his lifelong dream of being wealthier than Bruce Wayne and throws a party so all of Gotham can celebrate his success. Mary gets an unexpected new bestie when Sophie is assigned to protect her. Luke and Kate work together to uncover who may have taken a valuable weapon from Batman’s arsenal.

Season 01, Episode 04 – “Who Are You?”
A new villain with an eye for all things that sparkle drops in on the city. Kate attempts to find a balance between her personal life and her new role as Gotham’s guardian. Catherine has an uncomfortable encounter with Alice, who always seems to be one step ahead of the Kane family. Batwoman pays fangirl Mary a visit to ask for a favor. Meanwhile, Jacob and Sophie try to piece together who was after their prisoner. Luke continues to finetune Batwoman’s arsenal of weapons.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “Mine Is a Long and Sad Tale ”
Alice takes Kate down the sad, winding road of her life in the days after the accident as Jacob and Sophie attempt to track them. Mary has an argument with Catherine, which sends her looking for Kate at Wayne Tower, but instead she becomes unwelcome company for Luke.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “I’ll Be Judge, I’ll Be Jury”
A disturbing death has Gotham reeling and the city reaches out for their new vigilante hero. Luke confides in Kate, while Sophie asks Jacob for a special assignment. Alice continues her nefarious plot against the Kanes, with Catherine being a conduit to part of her plan. Batwoman pays another visit to Mary.

Season 01, Episode 07 – “Tell Me the Truth”
Kate and Sophie must reconcile with their past as Kate questions just how much she can trust her former lover. Kate and Luke have an encounter with an old friend.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “A MAD TEA-PARTY”
Kate and Alice continue their sister/nemesis dance, while Alice and Mouse construct their most evil plan yet. Mary invites Kate to a special event honoring Catherine and Jacob makes a decision that leaves Kate perplexed.

Season 01, Episode 09 – “CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS: PART TWO”
The group uses Ray’s invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. Meanwhile, the Monitor sends Iris, Clark and Lois in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate and Kara head out to find Bruce Wayne.

Season 01, Episode 10 – “HOW QUEER EVERYTHING IS TODAY!”
While Gotham busies itself reacting to Batwoman’s awkward encounter, Alice celebrates her ultimate act of vengeance with Mouse. A devastated Mary focuses on Jacob Kane’s trial, while Sophie seeks advice about her love life from someone unexpected. As they tackle the newest threat to Gotham, Luke prioritizes protecting Batwoman’s secret, and Kate must decide what she is willing to do to honor Batwoman’s identity…and her own.

Season 01, Episode 11 – “AN UN-BIRTHDAY PRESENT”
On the Kane sisters’ birthday, Kate and Alice contend with demons from the past, and an unexpected guest makes a surprise appearance in Gotham.

Season 01, Episode 12 – “TAKE YOUR CHOICE”
As Kate is pulled between two sisters, Luke and Mary are tasked with finding the cause behind Beth’s debilitating headaches. A visitor delivers some good news to Jacob, while Sophie takes her new role to the extreme and Alice makes a devastating discovery.

Season 01, Episode 13 – “DRINK ME”
A new villain sinks her teeth into Gotham and The Hold Up opens in grand fashion. Sophie reluctantly requests that Batwoman keep her distance knowing their interactions could compromise her career.

Season 01, Episode 14 – “Grinning from Ear to Ear”
Batwoman and Luke are on the trail of a villain targeting social media mavens. Sophie gets an unexpected visit from her mother, and Mary offers her expertise to assist Kate. Jacob Kane is approached to make good on a favor, while Alice focuses on her plans for retribution.

Season 01, Episode 15 – “OFF WITH HER HEAD”
More of Alice’s dark past is uncovered when Cartwright shares a twisted story with Kate while Jacob goes searching for his wayward daughter. Mary and Luke follow a lead on Beth’s killer.

Season 01, Episode 16 – “THROUGH THE LOOKING-GLASS”
Kate begins to question her instincts and Luke gets upsetting news. Alice seeks her sister’s help with a special task.

Season 01, Episode 17 – “A NARROW ESCAPE”
Batwoman encounters a new challenge when an old villain resurfaces, testing the heroics of Gotham’s most stand-up citizens. Alice’s limits are tested.

Season 01, Episode 18 – “IF YOU BELIEVE IN ME, I’LL BELIEVE IN YOU”
Batwoman asks Luke and Julia to do some undercover work to retrieve an item from her cousin’s collection; Alice gets a surprise visit from Jacob Kane; Mary tries to prove herself.

Season 01, Episode 19 – “A SECRET KEPT FROM ALL THE REST”
Members of Gotham’s intelligentsia begin disappearing, causing Cmdr. Kane, Sophie and the Crows to go in search of the newest homicidal threat to the city; Kate starts questioning the loyalty of everyone around her just when she needs them most.

Season 01, Episode 20 – “O, MOUSE!”
Batwoman and Commander Kane can face one of the former heroes of Gotham; Alice finds out what is Batwoman’s witness; Commander Kane does not want to back down from the war.
