Hi Max….just so you know, the text to all the synopsis has gone extremely small that I find it very difficult to read. Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem. I use Firefox as my browser in Win10. Never had any problems until now.

Hi Max…….unfortunately, the synopsis texts are still very small…..so I guess its just me thats having this problem.
Anyway, I don’t know how to fix it, and the only way I know is to use CRTL + to bring it up to 150% and then I’m able to read but then everything else is blurry when I do that. Very unfortunate for me to have to stop using your site.
I just want to tell you that I’ve had many years of entertainment brought by you to us and many many thanks to all your hard work. I can’t say enough of thanks…….. π

Hello GY1, please take note that we upgraded the allyoulike server which has nothing to do with rarefile servers at all – which hosts the links, and rarefile has not changed anything less their servers, they remain as it is just like before, if you are encountering problems, it has to do with your download manager or browser, thank you very much

In my experience, the new server is definitely more responsive than before.
The best suggestion I could make would be to implement sensible categories for items.
e.g. Magazines, Music, Movies, Software, etc.
This would make using the site much much easier and browsing much quicker. It may also bring more traffic as, at the moment, everything is just mixed together and it takes a bit of effort and time to browse and find something of interest.
I hope you’ll consider this.

I had the sidebars and flashing adverts disabled so didn’t even see the “Categories” box. Yes, that is pretty much what I meant. Thanks.
I don’t object to ads and understand that they help to fund a site but when they are constantly flashing in my face, that just becomes too much. I will try and make my filtering a little more selective so that I only block the flashing ones.

I bought 1 year subscription from rarefile reseller HostPacket. They were kind enough to take my money, and in return no premium key number. I received a e-mail from them acknowledging the transaction. But no valid key. further more they have advertised a price and charged more. sorry people, but we have found no difference between old and new servers…..same speed, same delays in connecting. maybe its because we have a slow internet connection.
Rarefile keeps prompting me to pay for premium account for fast download, and I did pay for the premium account. When I download a lot of files, Rarefile keeps telling me that its server crashesοΌIs this normal? I sent a message to Rarefile to report the issue, but it doesn’t reply to me.

Is there way to keep it in night mode all the time. Plus when I try to comment on the page it says my name is protected to log in, which I already was.
Hello Papa, when you are already logged in, your username is automatically inserted and you dont need to enter it, that means you are not logged on so you need to enter your username again which wont be accepted by the system, this is to protect your username by being used by other people. With regards to night mode, that is not the default of allyoulike and many other websites, however you can always enable this permanently using an add-on for firefox or chrome, please google dark mode add-on or extension for your browser, and you can set this as the default, thank you very much

Hi Max, always appreciate your hard work and a great website, but to be honest I miss a feature the older server used to have and that was not recent either, you used to have the search look for file names or words in descriptions, some times a title is not real easy to remember when looking for something but when we were able to search those as well we could find things so much easier, that used to really come in handy. Easy example looking for a title that has the word don’t but the title actually says dont, that’s when searching descriptions used to be great, I do realize the downside was the size of the database. Thanks again for all the great stuff! One more thing, sure music is great but with so much uploaded at one time it is hard to find the gems hidden in between. I spend lots of time going back 10–20 pages trying to see what is new other than music titles.

Hello JustBob, there are upsides and downsides for both searching options, we opted for this since its more accurate and its faster to get to what you want or need, sometime we ourselves cannot find what we are looking for easily, there is a tweak that we are working on but its very expensive which gives a fuzzy search option, the program has to be purchased, we are still contemplaiting if its worth it, ahnk you very much for your valuable input, we will definitely consider it, thank you very much
