Suspected killer of seven children in 1941. After she was detained for the gruesome murders, she was believed to be admitted as a patient to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, WV where she eventually died. The location of her grave is unknown and no further information regarding her death can be found. Ruth Blackwell is believed to now haunt the house where she committed the murders. The house owner, who has lived in the house for most of his life, claims that his home has been haunted since he was a child. Strangely, both Greg’s mother and father died in the house and he won’t rule out the possibility that the ghost is responsible for their deaths.
